Founded in 1918, the Croydon Volunteer Fire Company proudly provides Fire, Rescue and EMS services to the 10,000 plus residents of Croydon, Pennsylvania while also providing mutual Fire, Rescue and EMS support to neighboring Bristol Township, Bristol Borough and Bensalem Townships.

Monday Member Spotlight π
This week we're highlighting Life Member Battalion Chief Albert Fouriner, who joined the Croydon Fire Company in January 2007.
Over his 19 years with the company, Albert has served in several positions, including
Trustee, Captain, and Battalion Chief.
Albert also works as a career firefighter with Bristol Township Rescue 225.
We appreciate everything Albert has contributed to Station 11 over the years and look forward to many more years of service.

π THROWBACK THURSDAY | 1937 ![]()
In May of 1937, the Croydon Fire Company announced the start of a weekly fire school for its members. The training covered the practical use of tools and equipment, fire hazards, fire prevention, and how different types of fires should be handled.![]()
The company also invited neighboring fire companies to participate, with plans to eventually open parts of the program to the community.![]()
Almost 90 years later, one thing hasnβt changed β we still train.![]()
Croydon Fire Company continues to hold weekly training every Wednesday night, keeping our members prepared for the calls we answer and the community we serve.![]()
The equipment has changed. The technology has changed. The training has evolved.![]()
But the commitment to being prepared remains the same.
πΊπΈ We invite our community to join us on Friday, September 11th for a small ceremony to honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001.![]()

This weekβs Member Spotlight is Life Member Captain Erik Konyves!
Erik joined the Croydon Fire Company in December 2006. He has dedicated 20 years of service to Station 11.
Throughout his time with the company, Erik has held several leadership positions, including Vice President, President, Trustee, and currently serves as one of our Captains.
