Croydon Volunteer Fire Company
Founded in 1918, the Croydon Volunteer Fire Company proudly provides Fire, Rescue and EMS services to the 10,000 plus residents of Croydon, Pennsylvania while also providing mutual Fire, Rescue and EMS support to neighboring Bristol Township, Bristol Borough and Bensalem Townships.

Taking it back to March 26, 1958, when members of the Croydon Fire Company responded to a devastating fire at Tenaglia Pizza Restaurant on State Road in Croydon.![]()
According to the newspaper article, crews battled heavy smoke and fire conditions to keep the blaze from spreading to nearby homes and businesses. Multiple neighboring departments responded to assist, showing that mutual aid and teamwork have always been an important part of the fire service.![]()
